Refund and Returns Policy
Maxwin Humancare Foundation (“Maxwin Foundation”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in receiving and utilizing donations through our website.
This Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy explains the circumstances under which donations made through our website may be cancelled, refunded, or corrected.
Website: https://maxwinfoundation.org/
1. Nature of Donations
Maxwin Humancare Foundation is a charitable and social welfare organization. Donations made through our website are voluntary contributions intended to support our charitable programmes, welfare activities, community initiatives, healthcare support, education, elderly care, child welfare, skill development, and other activities undertaken by the Foundation.
Since donations are voluntary contributions and not purchases of goods or services, the concept of “returns” generally does not apply to donations.
2. Donation Cancellation
Once a donation has been successfully completed, it may not ordinarily be cancelled because the funds may be allocated toward charitable and welfare activities.
However, if a donor has accidentally made a duplicate payment, entered an incorrect amount, or believes that a transaction was made without authorization, the donor may contact us as soon as possible.
We will review the request and determine whether a refund can be processed, subject to applicable laws, payment gateway rules, banking procedures, and our internal verification process.
3. Refund Eligibility
A refund request may be considered in circumstances including:
- Duplicate donation made accidentally.
- Incorrect amount entered due to a genuine technical or transaction error.
- Unauthorized or fraudulent transaction reported by the donor.
- Amount debited from the donor’s account but the donation was not successfully recorded due to a technical issue.
- Other exceptional circumstances approved by Maxwin Humancare Foundation after verification.
Refunds are not guaranteed merely because a donor changes their mind after making a voluntary donation.
4. Refund Request Period
A donor should submit a refund request as soon as possible and preferably within 7 days from the date of the transaction.
Requests submitted after this period may still be reviewed where appropriate, particularly in cases involving duplicate payments, unauthorized transactions, or technical errors.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Donor’s full name
- Registered email address
- Mobile number
- Donation amount
- Date of donation

6. Verification of Refund Requests
For security and fraud-prevention purposes, Maxwin Humancare Foundation may verify the details of the transaction before approving a refund.
We may request additional information or supporting documents where necessary to confirm that the request has been submitted by the actual donor or authorized account holder.
A refund request may be declined where the transaction cannot be reasonably verified or where applicable laws, payment gateway rules, or banking regulations prevent a refund.
7. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved, we will initiate the refund through the appropriate payment channel or payment gateway.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the donor’s bank account, card, UPI account, or other payment method may depend on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or financial institution.
Maxwin Humancare Foundation does not control the processing time of third-party banks or payment service providers.
8. Payment Gateway Charges
Where applicable, payment gateway or transaction processing charges may not be refundable if they have already been deducted by the payment service provider.
Any refund amount will be determined after considering the actual transaction circumstances and applicable payment gateway rules.
9. Failed or Unsuccessful Transactions
If your bank account, credit card, debit card, UPI account, or other payment method has been debited but the donation is not successfully recorded on our website, please contact us with the transaction/reference number.
We will verify the transaction with the relevant payment gateway or financial institution.
If the amount was received by us but the donation was not properly recorded due to a technical issue, we will take appropriate steps to correct the transaction or process a refund, as applicable.
If the transaction failed and the amount was not received by Maxwin Humancare Foundation, the amount will generally be reversed or released by the respective bank or payment provider according to its applicable procedures.
10. Duplicate Transactions
If the same donation is accidentally processed more than once, please contact us with the transaction details.
After verification, we may process an appropriate refund for the duplicate transaction, subject to payment gateway and banking procedures.
11. Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe that a donation was made using your payment method without your authorization, please contact us immediately.
You should also contact your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment service provider and report the unauthorized transaction.
We may cooperate with the relevant payment provider or financial institution during any investigation.
12. Donation Receipts
Where applicable, Maxwin Humancare Foundation may issue a donation acknowledgement or receipt based on the information provided by the donor.
Donors are responsible for providing accurate information required for issuing receipts or applicable statutory documentation.
If you receive an incorrect receipt or require a correction, please contact us with the relevant donation details.
13. Tax and Statutory Compliance
Any tax benefit, deduction, exemption, or donation-related documentation will be subject to applicable Indian laws and regulations and the eligibility of the donor and organization.
Issuance of a donation receipt does not by itself guarantee that a donor will be eligible for any particular tax benefit.
Donors should consult their tax advisor or relevant authority for tax-related questions.
14. No Return of Goods
Maxwin Humancare Foundation does not sell products through the donation facility covered by this policy.
Therefore, there is no product return or exchange process applicable to donations made through the website.
Where the website separately offers any goods, services, event registrations, or other paid offerings in the future, separate terms may apply.
15. Changes to Donation Campaigns
Donation campaigns and charitable programmes may change depending on the needs of beneficiaries, available funds, operational requirements, emergencies, or other circumstances.
If funds raised for a particular campaign cannot be used exactly as originally described, Maxwin Humancare Foundation may, where legally permissible, use the funds for a closely related charitable purpose consistent with the organization’s objectives.
16. Fraud Prevention
Maxwin Humancare Foundation reserves the right to investigate suspicious, fraudulent, duplicate, or unauthorized transactions.
Where necessary, we may delay, reject, or reverse a transaction while verification is being conducted.
We may share relevant transaction information with payment gateways, banks, financial institutions, law enforcement authorities, or other appropriate parties where required or permitted by law.
17. Third-Party Payment Providers
Online donations may be processed through third-party payment gateways or payment service providers.
The payment gateway may have its own refund, cancellation, dispute, chargeback, and transaction policies.
Where a refund is dependent on the payment gateway or financial institution, the applicable processing timelines and procedures of that provider may apply.
Maxwin Humancare Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, UPI providers, payment gateways, or other third-party financial institutions.
18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a transaction is incorrect or unauthorized, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can investigate and resolve the matter.
You may also contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider in accordance with their applicable dispute and chargeback procedures.
We will cooperate with legitimate payment disputes and provide relevant transaction information when reasonably required.
19. Policy Changes
Maxwin Humancare Foundation reserves the right to update or modify this Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be published on this page with the revised “Last Updated” date.
Donors are encouraged to review this policy before making a donation.
